Texpad replaces LaTeX's obscure console output with a table of typesetting errors. Clicking on these errors will direct you to the offending line in the LaTeX source.

I downloaded the installer package, and have been running the installer, but I've been encountering problems.The installer gets to the step where it installs MiKTeX 2.9, and I think it installed correctly (although I can't be sure as I haven't used LaTeX before). However, once I close the installer from that and click next on the main installer, it says that 'No LaTeX distribution can be found' and aborts the installation. Does anyone have any advice?
I'm running a 64 bit Windows 7 computer. I don't know if that is a problem or not.
