Pine Tree Barn is a restored Dutch bank barn featuring over 25,000 sq. Of home furnishings and interior design, gift shops, a gourmet luncheon restaurant and Ohio Grown Christmas Trees. Summer Concerts Each summer, the Downtown Development Authority hosts a Summer Concert Series at The Boneyard Pavilion in Downtown Swainsboro. The award‑winning Loblolly Festival was born in 2009 when Laurel Main Street brainstormed ways to rejuvenate a 13 year old event already taking place in downtown. The new festival gets its name from the loblolly pine trees that are native to the area. The Loblolly Festival is an homage to the timber history on which the City of Laurel was.

Each year Soperton’s Iva Park becomes host to the Million Pines Arts and Crafts Festival. Beginning in 1972 as a project to help local civic clubs and community needs, it has grown to be one of Southeast Georgia’s finest events. As you browse under the shady pines, you can find crafts of days gone by as well as today’s newer techniques.
